Hello friends!
I meant to sit down and write a post all last week, but it just ended up being crazier than planned! Ha, aren’t they all that way lately?
Honestly, I have been working on being more intentional about my rest time and not staring at a screen during my down time, so that meant no post happened.
I don’t know about you, but when holiday falls on a Monday, it is nice, but also seems to throw the week off a bit.
I started off the week doubling up teaching classes, which was really fun!
Work kept me out of trouble with some organizing projects, teaching a few evening classes and bonus clients had me a bit more tired than I would like, so sleep was a big priority this past week. The kids and I have also been working one getting creative with educational games, so we have been playing some fun games of scrabble!
By the time Friday night rolled around, I was wiped out.
Saturday my church had a fun kids skating party, and I decided to try and see if I still had my moves! The last time I recall going roller skating, I was in 7th grade!
I am happy to report I still have the moves, however, I did fall one time, but on the carpet, trying to help one of the younger kids with the roller skating aid! My tush is a bit sore from that! LOL

I know I mentioned I am working on my post workout recovery, and I have been doing so-so with that. I have also been being more diligent with pre and post workout nutrition.
For my pre-workout I have been loving Now Foods Official Beet Root Powder, and I am starting a new post-workout protein shake this week, and I will fill y’all in on how it goes.

This week is going to be another full one! Teaching a few extra classes this week along with finalizing the new material (music and choreography) that we launch on Saturday! I am excited for the new music, and I can’t wait to have a blast launching with the fellow fitness instructors! I hope y’all have an amazing week and find a way to move joyfully!

I am linking up with Kim & Deborah for the Weekly Run Down!

Our kids’ church group went roller skating once, gosh maybe 12 years ago. I had not been on skates since 7th or 8th grade either…but it all came back to me pretty easily (not that I had any fancy moves to demonstrate). It still was a fun time!

You taught a lot of classes this week! Our family always loves a good scrabble game although they sometimes get heated

You had a great week!
I have never been able to roller skate. I can roller blade and I can ice skate, but the actual roller skating eludes me. It’s the weirdest thing.

Sounds like a great week, Esther! I can definitely relate to that meme with the baby elephant. I started a new training program and my legs have been toast. Keep up the great work!
